Are you ready to discover an exciting new experience in life that challenges the way you think about the world around you?
Join us in an intensive 5-day DEBRIEF career taster of what it is like to study and develop a career in the creative arts. Centred around you as an individual, and based around the idea of an artist’s ‘journal’, we will show you what freelance, casual or permanent work might look like in diverse and creative roles such as a professional artist, an arts manager or administrator, a technician, a designer, a gallery director, a writer or a curator.
The project will be run from 9.30 am – 3 pm on Monday 1 – Friday 5 February. It will be online for 4 days through the Zoom platform and the fifth day will be a day of face to face industry talks at the Geelong Gallery and Platform Arts with a public art picnic at Johnstone Park in Geelong, COVID permitting.
Places are limited and there are a few free tickets left.
This project is supported by the City of Greater Geelong through its COVID-19 Arts, Culture and Heritage Recovery
