Marco Luccio’s lockdown project

The work of award-winning artist Marco Luccio can usually be found hanging in galleries and collections from New York City to Hong Kong, but for now he’s using it to instill hope on the streets of Melbourne and Sydney during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.

In collaboration with Melbourne-based company Rock Posters, Luccio has created an etching of two albatrosses lovingly touching beaks, accompanied by the words LOVE, HOPE, TRUST.

More than 700 screen-printed posters of the artwork have been printed and pasted up across Melbourne and Sydney.

Thanks for the great interview Chris.
You have a great way of making people feel at ease and your obvious interest make it easy to open up and share the stories.
    Many thanks
    Marco
