Dilruk Jayasinha talks about Comedy after COVID

On today’s KickArts we catch-up with Melbourne comedian Dilruk Jayasinha about life after lockdown as he prepares to perform his stand-up routine as part of the Geelong Arts Centre’s Summer Sessions at Rippleside Park.

Ten years after leaving his day job and trying his hand at comedy, Dilruk explains why he made the switch to doing something he loves.

We also talk about motivations behind his weight-loss, life during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic and his excitement (and fears) about performing live again.

Dilruk Jayasinha performs 17 February (with Dave Thornton and Lash 78) at Geelong Arts Centre’s Summer Sessions. Book tickets at geelongartscentre.org.au
