Deborah Hart, Senior Curator, National Gallery of Australia talks about the Ned Kelly series of paintings by Sidney Nolan

This week we spent some time with National Gallery of Australia’s senior curator, Deborah Hart, who was in Geelong to oversee the final touches on the Sidney Nolan – Kelly exhibition at Geelong Gallery.

We wandered the exhibition and talked about Nolan, his motives as an artist and the paintings that made him a house-hold name.

Visit Geelong Gallery for viewing times plus the huge offering of exhibiton events to engage with the artwork.
